Buffalo Stars and Stripes is from the Buffalo Path Series, which illuminates the buffalo theme as both a subject & a major part of the lifestyle of the Native Americans/ First Nations peoples.  In this series I introduce the concept of a Path, to symbolize the people's direction on the road to spiritual growth.
   Buffalo Stars and Stripes is composed in the vibrant style reminiscent to the 20th century Expressionist, combined with the dichotic image of a painted buffalo skull demonstrating the clash of cultures and process of spiritual expression.    
   Painting a buffalo skull was and is a ceremonial process that represents the presence of a divine power and is the communicative link we have though this ceremony.
