From the Center is Where Life Comes

The acknowledgement and celebration of life and where it comes from is universal to all mankind.   In this depiction, color representation and First Nation imagery, designed in 1800’s ledger art style, interprets the origin.  Black Pinto Horse attempts to interpret and articulate his version. A yellow circle in the center of this piece denotes enlightenment from the Circle of Life.   The blue surrounding it, symbolizes sacredness or holiness to the Circle of Life.    Four feathers placed in a semi-cardinal direction denote the illumination of directional divine powers.   The two small circles on the top and bottom, represent the heavens and all of mankind.   Two feathers extend horizontally from the center to symbolize a maternal outreach of comfort.
